So, yesterday I was driving along, and I realized that I have alot of beachbody customers, who all have the same thing in common...to become healthier individuals. Over the last few months, I have been calling my customers or emailing them to see if there are things that need to be done by me, there coach, to help them acheive their goals, to see if they are using and enjoying the products, and to hold them accountable for their actions.
Later on, I visited with my sweet cousin, who happens to be the best friend I could ask for. Now, mind you, we talk nearly everyday, but never do I ask her, my beachbody customer, anything about her diet, fitness routine, or any struggles that she maybe facing thru nutrition or fitness. I was mentioning to her that I had been calling all my customers, and in the conversation, she told me that she has not been drinking her Shakeology, which helps her in so many ways. Immediately, guilt ran through my veins! Proably, one of the people that can benefit more than any of my customers from Shakeology isn't taking it, what?!?
You see, she had been struggling with many health issues, for many years, that were completely resolved after one-two weeks on Shakeology. She drank it everyday for months and months, but during the holidays, she, like so many, fell off the wagon. All of her health issues have returned, and she feels a lack on energy.
As she was telling me about her issuses coming back, my heart broke into a million peices. I, as her coach, friend, & family member, failed her. For whatever reason, I didn't motivate, inspire, or hold her accountable to her actions, like I do most of my customers.
I later left &, I realized that I have NOT been the coach I promised myself, my customers, or beachbody that I would be. I will be doing alot more calling & visiting with you guys, because I don't want this to happen again. Luckily, we had a 'come to Jesus meeting' shortly after my visit. She is back on the wagon, and back on the road to resolved health issues, which could have completely been avoided, had I been the mentor I should have been.
So, if you are my customer, a friend or family member who has expressed to me that you want to become healthier, whether it be through beachbody products or not, I WILL BE HERE!! I will be calling you, and hopefully you can use this to your advantage.
Ya'll are incredible people, who deserve nothing but the best from me. I vow to be a better coach, cousin, mother, daughter, wife, sister, aunt, neice, and friend.

Tuesday, January 11, 2011
Well, I finally started a blog! Just want to start by talking about some of my goals for 2011. I am really going to spend some time building my beachbody coaching business. It has the potenital to take me further than I can even dream, but it will take some time and alot of dedication. I am looking for some people who are serious about living a healthy lifestyle and who can inspire others to do the same. Coaching has become an important thing in my life. I not only enjoy what teambeachbody has to offer, but I enjoy helping people that have been in similar situations as I, and I also like the paychecks that come each week. If you think you may be interested in teambeachbody products or helping others, please let me know.
I also am really looking forward to making some great memories with my daughter. She is the light of my life, and she makes me smile everyday. She is at the age, where she thinks she should be really dramatic about everything, and although it is incredibly sassy sometimes, it is too cute. I don't want to miss anything this year. Her personality is really starting to shine through.
Recipe of the day:
SOUTHWEST CHICKEN
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
1 (8.75 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 pinch ground cumin
